The Kerobokan office is a short drive from Canggu, Seminyak and Denpasar. If you are coming from further out, message first and we will tell you whether the matter needs you in person at all. A good deal of what we do can be handled remotely, and it saves you a trip through Bali traffic.
What happens on a first consultation
The first consultation is free and it exists to answer one question: do you actually need a lawyer for this, and if so, what is the realistic path.
- You tell us the situation. Message on WhatsApp, call, or use the form on this page. A sentence or two is enough to start.
- We tell you whether it is a legal problem. Some things that feel urgent are administrative and you can solve them yourself. We will say so.
- If it is, we set out the options. What the law requires, roughly how long it takes, and what it is likely to cost.
- You decide. No obligation to instruct us.
Bring your documents. Whatever you have, even if it is incomplete or in Indonesian and you cannot read it. A land certificate, a contract, a police letter, a notice from immigration. Ten minutes looking at the actual paperwork is worth an hour of describing it.
Urgent matters
Some situations do not wait for office hours. If any of the following apply, message on WhatsApp and say it is urgent:
- You have been detained, or asked to attend a police station
- You have been in a road accident where someone was hurt
- Your passport has been retained, or you have been told you cannot leave Indonesia
- You are being pressured to sign something you do not understand
- A deadline expires within days, such as a visa or a permit

Common questions before getting in touch
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. It is there so both sides can work out whether there is a matter worth taking on. If your problem can be solved without a lawyer, we would rather tell you that than bill you for finding out.
Do you speak English?
Yes. The team is bilingual in English and Indonesian, which matters more than it sounds. Indonesian law requires agreements involving an Indonesian party to be in Bahasa Indonesia, and an English-only contract has been struck down by an Indonesian court for breaching that rule.
Can you help if I am not in Indonesia right now?
Often yes. Title checks, company formation, document review and most correspondence can be handled while you are abroad. Some steps require you in person, including biometric appointments for immigration since 2025, and we will tell you which ones early rather than late.
How quickly do you reply?
WhatsApp during opening hours is the fastest route. Outside hours, mark it urgent and we will see it sooner.
Do I need to come to the office?
Not always. Say what the matter is when you first message and we will tell you whether it needs a meeting, and if so which office is more convenient.
Are you regulated?
